Virtual Reality porn is going to, one day far in the future, be incredibly exciting. The possibilities are almost limitless. One day you’ll be able to experience photo-realistic pornographic fantasies that defy reality… and yet look and feel incredibly realistic. Virtual reality porn and sex toys
Access to virtual reality
Virtual Reality isn’t mainstream yet, but it’s now possible to get set up and start enjoying VR with no particular technical expertise. Consoles like the Oculus Quest work out of the box, and are more-or-less idiot proof. To enjoy them all you’ll need is:
- A spare £300 – £400
- A Facebook account
- About two square metres of free space
Oculus, by the way, is owned and operated by Meta (aka Facebook), who have some pretty backward views on adult material. You’ll be able to access VR porn online without doing anything technical, but if you want to play adult games on your Quest you’ll need to “jailbreak” it, and thus will additionally require.

Once you’ve got this basic set up, you’re ready to go. For your comfort and enjoyment, I’d also recommend headphones and a room with a lockable door. When you’re in VR you cannot see your surroundings, and you may be more comfortable knowing that nobody can quietly walk in on you.
Virtual reality porn films
Most VR porn films are viewable with a 180° field of vision. The action happens in front of you, and if you turn around and look behind you all you’ll see is a dark black void.
Some 360° films are available… but the industry doesn’t seem to have figured out what to do with the format just yet. Often with 360° films the action still takes place in front of you, and if you turn around and look behind you all you’ll see is an empty room or a bored looking sound guy holding a boom mic.
VR porn films can be surprisingly engaging. They make you feel very close to the action, and allow you to see a level of detail that is normally lost when watching on a flat screen. They offer a greater sense of the texture and tactile nature of what you’re looking at… and sometimes offer some pleasant “ghost” sensations: when an actress in a VR film reaches out to touch you, you can often almost feel it.
This type of porn is readily available. Many mainstream porn sites now have a VR category, with films that you can access for free. Most of this is pretty standard porn, though: there’s very little amateur or kinky content, and the vast majority of material is designed to cater to straight men.
Dedicated VR Porn sites offer more variety, with scenes that are shot with the capabilities of VR in mind. BaDoinkVR has a good range of content (most of it 180°), and works fairly seamlessly with most common setups.
Virtual reality adult games
VR porn is fun and all, but it doesn’t offer much in the way of interactivity. You watch and enjoy whatever happens to be going on, and can’t influence the action in any way.
Adult VR games, on the other hand, offer plenty of opportunities for interaction.
By their nature, adult VR games are less realistic than VR porn films. The content you’ll see is computer generated, not filmed, so it won’t necessarily look photorealistic. That said, some games do come pretty close, and we’re at a stage where most are easily able to leapfrog the uncanny valley.

You will need to pay for most adult VR games. You can often find free demos, but these are usually censored and very brief. If you want to have a half-decent experience with adult VR games, it’s absolutely worth spending a few dollars in doing so.
Most adult VR games are made by independent developers. To get hold of them you’ll usually need to support the developer on Patreon, download an APK file, and then load it onto your quest from a laptop or PC using the app Sidequest.

Wouldn’t it be fun if you could integrate VR porn or pornographic games with real-world sex toys?
The simplest and cheapest way to integrate VR porn and sex toys is to use a sex toy to get yourself off while watching VR porn. This has several advantages: there’s no complex set up, no tech issues to get over, and you don’t have to pay for any expensive toys.
Some VR porn games are even designed to work with masturbators in this way. Essentially you strap a VR controller to a fleshlight, thus allowing your headset to track where the fleshlight is.
